Support Services

A wide range of support services, such as those highlighted here, may be available to help people to live independently. If you have a particular need not mentioned here please talk to the Pilkington Family Trusts.

Hairdressing

Home & Garden Maintenance

Available UK wide either as
a service or a cash grant

Available UK wide to people who are
unable to maintain their own gardens
or have no-one else to do it for them.

Domestic Service

Available UK wide to people who are unable
to carry out basic household tasks such as
shopping, laundry, ironing, cleaning, etc.

Home Security

Available to vulnerable pensioners to make their
homes more secure.

Spy holes, security chains, window locks or other
security devices can be fitted. Smoke detectors
can be fitted also.

Meals Service

A Home Meals' service is available (7 days
a week) to beneficiaries living in the St Helens
area who may have difficulty in preparing a hot
meal for themselves at lunch time.

A small charge is made for this service.
